Simpson Strong-Tie Brings Suite of Innovative Concrete Anchors, Epoxy Repair Products, FRP, FRCM, and Other Repair, Protection and Strengthening Systems to 2020 World of Concrete

Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, will showcase part of its expansive portfolio of concrete construction and restoration solutions at the 2020 World of Concrete (WOC) February 4–7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

New Crack Injection Epoxies

Located in South Hall S10505, the Simpson Strong-Tie booth will unveil the new CI family of crack injection epoxies, designed for a variety of concrete crack repair jobs. Tested to the latest ASTM standards, the new CI epoxies have an improved viscosity range with accelerated cure times, and can be installed at temperatures between 40°F and 110°F to meet the demands of real-world concrete repair applications.

Simpson Strong-Tie has also upgraded its entire suite of dispensing tools and injection systems to help make CI epoxy applications fast, easy and clean for contractors on the move. From hairline cracks to wider concrete fractures, CI crack injection repair products are designed for both cartridge and pump applications to suit a variety of jobs of all sizes from the smallest to the largest. Products included in the collection have been formulated for retrofit and repair work in light-frame, tilt-wall, water treatment, bridge and marine, and commercial construction and restoration.

New! Titen Turbo™ Concrete and Masonry Screw Anchor. Easy, fast, reliable — you’ve got to drive it to believe it! Booth attendees will be able to try out the new Titen Turbo in a hands-on installation station. The Titen Turbo anchor features a patent-pending torque reduction channel that traps dust where it can’t obstruct the thread action, reducing the likelihood of binding in the hole. In addition, the 6-lobe drive provides better bit grip for reduced cam-outs, easier driving and longer bit life.

Additional Simpson Strong-Tie solutions to be on display at WOC include the following:

  • FRCM fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix and FRP fiber-reinforced polymer solutions for the reinforcement and strengthening of concrete and masonry structures
  • FX-70® structural piling repair and protection system for economically restoring damaged piles in place
  • The Certified Restoration Contractor Network, designed to help eligible contractors grow and enhance their businesses
