Simpson Strong-Tie Launches National Contest to Find the Best Pergola Design Project Designed with Its Pergola Planner Software™

Pergola designers and outdoor living space aficionados, get ready. Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, is searching for the best pergola design in the country.

Open to everyone, the Simpson Strong-Tie® Pergola Planner Software™ Design Your Perfect Pergola Contest pits entrants against each other to see who can design the best pergolas using the free, web-based Pergola Planner Software™ from Simpson Strong-Tie. The winner will receive either up to $500 in cash or up to $500 in Simpson Strong-Tie products specified in the winning design to build the pergola during the 2021 construction season.

Pergola Planner Software gives contractors, deck builders, and DIYers fast, powerful editing tools to design pergolas and other outdoor structures. The software helps users visualize projects with templates and multiple style options to create a picturesque backyard. After the design is complete, users can simply print out a plan view and materials list, and they’re ready start building.
